Upload the DOC file and the converter renders each page as a separate JPG image at 150 DPI. A multi-page DOC produces one JPG per page, numbered in page order. Pages are rendered at 150 DPI, which is crisp on screen and fine for most printing. There is no DPI setting for DOC to JPG. For 72 or 300 DPI, convert the DOC to PDF first, then use the PDF to JPG converter, which has a Resolution setting.

No. There is no page setting for DOC files, so every page is rendered as its own JPG and you keep the ones you need. If you only want the first page, convert the DOC to PDF and then use the PDF to JPG converter, whose Pages menu offers First page only.

It depends on the size and length of the file. Small documents and images are usually ready quickly. Long videos take the longest, because most video conversions re-encode every frame.

Yes. Uploaded DOC files are processed on our own conversion servers, no person reviews them, and they are never shared. The upload and the converted JPG are both deleted automatically about 24 hours after the conversion, which leaves time to download the result. See /privacy/ for the full policy.
