Pages are rendered at 150 DPI, which is crisp on screen and fine for most printing. There is no DPI setting for DOCX to PNG. For 72 or 300 DPI, convert the DOCX to PDF first, then use the PDF to PNG converter, which has a Resolution setting.

No. There is no page setting for DOCX files, so every page is rendered as its own PNG and you keep the ones you need. If you only want the first page, convert the DOCX to PDF and then use the PDF to PNG converter, whose Pages menu offers First page only.

It depends on the size and length of the file. Small documents and images are usually ready quickly. Long videos take the longest, because most video conversions re-encode every frame.
