Will the JPG images keep the book's fonts and styling?

Is the text in the JPG selectable?

No — rendering an EPUB page to JPG produces a picture, so the text becomes pixels. For editable or searchable output, convert the EPUB to a document instead of images.
Does JPG support a transparent background?

PNG, WebP, and GIF JPG can hold transparency, but ebook pages normally render on a solid page color, so the JPG typically has an opaque background. JPG never stores transparency.
Is my EPUB ebook private during conversion?
