Upload the DOCX file and the converter renders each page as a separate TIFF image at 150 DPI. A multi-page DOCX produces one TIFF per page, numbered in page order.

Pages are rendered at 150 DPI, which is crisp on screen and fine for most printing. There is no DPI setting for DOCX to TIFF. For 72 or 300 DPI, convert the DOCX to PDF first, then use the PDF to TIFF converter, which has a Resolution setting.

No. There is no page setting for DOCX files, so every page is rendered as its own TIFF and you keep the ones you need. If you only want the first page, convert the DOCX to PDF and then use the PDF to TIFF converter, whose Pages menu offers First page only.

It depends on the size and length of the file. Small documents and images are usually ready quickly. Long videos take the longest, because most video conversions re-encode every frame.
